Green Bay Area Mom is growing again! And looking for local parents who would like to help us engage with our community through events. We are a local parenting resource that provides the Green Bay and Appleton areas with fantastic content about the communities we live in. In order to provide even more of the content that our parents love, we are looking for passionate people who are excited to bring these resources to Green Bay and Appleton areas to join our team.
Both positions allow our team members to choose their own hours and work from home except on event days. These roles can be combined also.
Events Coordinator: 10-15 hours a week during the active event period.
- Serves as point of contact along with Green Bay Area Mom owners in regard to all events
- Assists in the solicitation of sponsors/partners for events (via email, phone, social media, or in person) along with general Sales Director.
- Assists in the execution of sponsorship terms (i.e., composing sponsored post, publishing image ads to website, filling swag bags, organizing giveaways)
- Helps manage social media efforts for events
- Manages communication with contributors regarding events (updating contributors on events, coordinating best dates, assigning responsibilities, etc.)
- Coordinates all details of the event (music, food donors, activities, etc.) and creates and implements event agenda/script
- Attend monthly executive team meetings
- 20% Commission earned on profits of the event.
Community Engagement Coordinator: 10-20 hours per month
- Work with local businesses to offer unique small events for our community.
- Coordinate food, best dates, ticket sales, and other arrangements for the event.
- Coordinate volunteers and vendors.
- Work with Social Media Coordinator to promote events.
- Work with other events teams to support playdates/book club and more.
- Attend monthly executive team meetings.
- Paid per event depending on coordination needed.
