We’re halfway through summer! Are your kids getting bored with the same old routine? Take a day and travel to Wausau, WI! Riverlife Park, located at 1400 N River Dr, Wausau, WI 54403, has a walking/biking trail, playground, outdoor fitness area, kayak launch, Briq’s soft-serve ice cream shop, and WOW (Wausau on Water) Family Entertainment Center!!
Riverlife Park, which opened in 2019, is ideal for ages 5 and up in my opinion! The play structures are tall and require climbing up ropes to reach the top. There are lots of fun spinning play structures for your kids to enjoy as well!
Want to get your body moving? Utilize the Riverlife Park HealthBeat Outdoor Fitness System! There are steppers, ellipticals, squat machines, kettlebells, and suspension training. There is also a GameTime Challenge Course where you can test your agility and speed!
Have your own kayak? Bring them along and use their awesome kayak launch at Riverlife Park to paddle down the Wisconsin River!
They also have outdoor seating with a fire pit area along the river!
Take a break from the outdoor playground at Riverlife Park to grab a bite to eat and play at WOW Family Entertainment Center. We didn’t get a chance to check this place out, but they have laser tag and an arcade. Find more information about them on their website and let us know how it is when you stop there!
We did indulge in a cone at Briq’s Soft Serve and it was a huge hit! Vanilla, Chocolate, or Zebra cones, dipped cones, and other ice cream treats are available!
