Family and Football go hand in hand in Green Bay!  There are so many ways to bond with your family while enjoying the sport.

Green Bay Area Mom had the opportunity to sit down with Ryan, Sales Director (and so much more) of the Green Bay Blizzard to discuss all the family-friendly football opportunities our city offers.

Places to Play

Green Bay has so many places to play football with your family.  If your yard isn’t large enough to play in, why not head to one of the amazing parks in our area?  You can check them out before you go with our Park and Playgrounds guides.

Green Bay Blizzard

The Green Bay Blizzard hosts many family-friendly events throughout the year.  Check out their schedule to find all the special events they host.  From Superhero Night, Laser Shows, and making it snow in the arena, the Blizzard finds unique and fantastic ways to celebrate that your kids and you will enjoy.

They also host the 5th Quarter, where you and your kids can go on the field and interact with the players.

Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers have long ago started family traditions that everyone can enjoy.  While regular season tickets may be pricey for some families, The Packers host Family Night every year which is finished with a fireworks and laser display.

If you are looking for a free option, check out the open practices.  Players ride kid’s bikes across the parking lot and Oneida Street to the practice field.  This is a great opportunity for your kids to see and meet some players.

We are so lucky to have so many options for family football fun in Green Bay.  Grab a ball, head outside, and bond with your family.
