A Fun Week in Green Bay – What to do this week with your Toddlers

0

A fun week. After the new year, I wanted to put an emphasis on fun. While raising my little humans, I often focus ALL day on repeating myself and stressing about growing my kids into decent human beings. Oftentimes, I forget the best part of having kids…is being able to have fun with them.

I made an effort to change that in 2021. Here is a sample of one of the many fun weeks we had in the Green Bay area.

We are really fortunate in that we live in an area that has amenities similar to a city but that also feels like a small town.

Here is a breakdown of our fun week!

Monday

On Monday’s we have been checking out the NEW Zoo, if the weather permits, to start our fun week. The reason for this is because we have membership and the kids enjoy it. Another great option, if a zoo membership is not an option or money is tight, when the weather has been terrible we have also headed over to Cabelas. They have a free aquarium and lots of animals to look at.

Tuesday

Get Air Trampoline Park – The trampoline park has a toddler time from 10am – 12pm and my toddler has a blast. They have a new section with an indoor playground and various different foam pits and obstacles mixed in with trampolines that make the 2 hours disappear.

Wednesday

Kidz Town – Has open play from 9 am – 5pm. I love that this time is flexible since my youngest is still somewhat unpredictable with her nap times. My son loves this place, every time we are here my son finds something new to play with. Kidz Town has several themed “rooms”, that offer different toys and give kids a ton to choose from. Check out their website here for private playtimes too https://kidztowngb.com/

Thursday

National Railroad Museum – My kids may be a bit small to enjoy all of the history, this museum offers but chasing my kids around the big area where the trains are located gets us all out of the house and gives us something fun to do. They also have an outdoor play area that is fun when the weather permits too.

My son loves to look at all the trains!

Friday

Starz Academy – Has open gym from 9:30-10:30. My son loves it here. It is one room so it is very easy to spot your toddler and the foam pit is big enough to hold several kids. This class is just what we need to get my son’s energy out.

I moved here a little less than a year ago and due to COVID-19 most facilities were not accessible to us, until recently. As things have reopened, we have enjoyed getting to explore Green bay and the fun things we can all enjoy. Cheers to a fun week!
