Green Bay Area Moms Blog in partnership with Children's Hospital of Wisconsin is thrilled to be hosting the 1st Annual BLOOM: An Event for New & Expecting Moms. A portion of the event will be dedicated to our expert panel. Each expert will speak to her area of specialty and field questions from our attendees. Please take a moment to meet our experts!

In partnership with Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, Green Bay Area Moms Blog will be hosting BLOOM: An event for new and expecting moms on Saturday, May 13th from 9-11:30 am. Over the course of 2.5 hours, our goal is to provide new moms and moms-to-be with access to educational resources, pampering, light snacks, giveaways, swag, and an opportunity to tour the hospital. Simply put, it will be a morning of connecting moms and families with relevant local resources.

While others are packing their swimsuits and sunscreen, my family is loading up the minivan for a week at our favorite resort in the Wisconsin northwoods.

On Friday, November 4th our mission of connecting with moms both online and offline came to fruition.  We were thrilled to participate in #CostcoMomHour, an event representing a partnership between City Moms Blog Network (CMBN) and Costco.  Taking place in 90+ Costco warehouses across the country, over 41,000 people attended this event.  Locally, hundreds of moms and their friends and family turned out at the Bellevue and Grand Chute locations for a morning of shopping & socializing.  The first 100 who walked through the doors received impressive swag bags and everyone enjoyed a wonderful breakfast.  Between Bellevue and Grand Chute, 4 attendees won a $100 Costco Cash Card and 2 were lucky recipients of a large supply of Tide Pods.  We launched Green Bay Area Moms Blog three short months ago, so to see this response was very exciting and fulfilling.  We intend to bring you more events in the future.  Thank you for joining us and we look forward to great things!

Books to the Rescue! is a program that launched in Ohio about a year ago.  Its mission is to equip police cruisers and rescue personnel with bags or bins that are stocked with books and activities. These books and activities will be given to children in crisis situations to help distract and comfort those little ones in their times of need.  These bags of books can also be used in crisis centers, or any place that there may be children who need something to calm them in a difficult situation.
